Aplikasi Berbasis Web Penyandang Masalah Kesejahteraan Sosial Modul Dinas Sosial (Studi Kasus Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Bandung)

Abstract

Abstrak— Aplikasi berbasis web Penyandang Masalah Kesejahteraan Sosial modul Dinas Sosial adalah aplikasi yang dibangun untuk membantu proses pengelolaan data PMKS di tingkat Dinas Sosial. Aplikasi ini dibangun untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan yang muncul terutama saat proses berjalan perekapan data PMKS hasil pendataan tiap kecamatan dan pemilihan peserta kegiatan agar tidak terjadi pembagian bantuan yang beruntun pada peserta yang sama tiap tahunnya. Selama ini, proses pengelolaan data PMKS masih dilakukan secara konvensional, kemungkinan hilangnya data dan duplikasi data sangat besar. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan membangun sebuah aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat melakukan integrasi data dari setiap pihak pengguna mulai dari pihak pendata, desa, kecamatan, dan dinas sosial. Aplikasi dibangun dengan metode waterfall melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain, pembuatan kode, dan pengujian. Hasil desain didapatkan melalui tahapan penggalian kebutuhan dengan calon pengguna untuk kemudian dilakukan pengodean dengan bahasa pemograman PHP hingga aplikasi siap diuji dan digunakan. Dengan dilakukannya tahapan analisis terhadap kebutuhan pengguna yang telah didapatkan, aplikasi ini diharapkan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dalam proses pengelolaan data PMKS. Kata Kunci—PMKS; Dinas Sosial; waterfall; PHP; Abstract— Web based application for people with social welfare problem is an application which has features to solve some problems in processing integration data at The Department of Social Services of Bandung District. The cases that are considered as problems are when each sub district has to collect data of PMKS in their region manually and when it’s finished they pass the data to The Department of Social Services. Lost or duplicate data could possibly happen if the process of data collection is done manually. Another problem sometimes occurs in choosing the participants for a program, there were times where a citizen got helped for the second time meanwhile a citizen can only get handled once. One of the solutions to these problems is to develop a web based application which is able to manage and integrate the data of PMKS and can be used by each of sub district. By the help of this application, It can effectively support any process in collecting and processing data. The method used in developing this application is waterfall method. There are steps in doing this method started from requirement analysis, system design, implementation and testing. The design of application needs are gathered from the result of analyzing method, then applying the result of design by using PHP programming language until the application is ready to be tested.
