Aplikasi Pendaftaran Dan Seleksi Peserta Didik Baru Berbasis Web (studi Kasus: Sman 1 Pringsewu)

Abstract

Abstrak Seleksi siswa baru adalah kegiatan pemilihan calon peserta didik untuk menentukan diterima atau tidaknya calon siswa menjadi siswa di lembaga pendidikan tersebut berdasarkan ketentuan yang berlaku. Maka dari itu SMAN 1 Pringsewu mengadakan seleksi siswa baru untuk memilih siswa yang sesuai dengan ketentuan visi misi sekolah.Namun, dari hasil wawancara sekolah ini masih melakukan pendaftaran dan seleksi calon siswa baru masih secara manual. Formulir yang disebarkan dan diisi secara manual kemudian dikumpulkan kembali ke petugas secara manual. Oleh karena itu solusi yang diberikan adalah membuat aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat membatu mengelola pendataan siswa baru. Aplikasi ini bernama Aplikasi Pendaftaran dan Seleksi Peserta Didik Baru Berbasis Web. Aplikasi ini memiliki beberapa fitur diantaranya adalah siswa baru dapat mengerjakan soal seleksi secara online dan melihat hasil test secara langsun. Selain itu, panitia dapat mengelola data siswa, soal seleksi dan data panitia seleksi secara online. Aplikasi ini menggunakan model waterfall dan dibuat menggunakan framework Codeigniter dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP, MySQL, CSS, dan HTML. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, dapat diharapkan untuk membantu siswa baru dan panitia dalam proses seleksi siswa baru secara online. In addition, the committee can manage student data, selection and data selection committee selection online. This application uses waterfall model and created using Codeigniter framework with PHP, MySQL, CSS, and HTML programming languages.
