Eksplorasi Limbah Konfeksi Di Kawasan Soreang Dengan Inspirasi Busana Pencak Silat

Abstract

Abstrak The development of Indonesia in The World of Textile, especially in the world of textiles and fashion indirectly can have a negative impact to Indonesia. The most visible impact is the increase in textile waste. At present, based on data obtained in 2018, there are more than 170 residential houses produce area texstile in the Soreang area. The existence of a confectionary house in the Soreang turned out to bring in a new problem, namely the waste fabric production residues that pollute the environment and waste of land. The waste is left to become a garbage, it is usually sold to be stuffed, handicrafts, or just thrown into polling stations and some even burned.
Of course this textile waste can be more useful and can be reprocessed into products that have more aesthetic value, functional value and economic value. The method used in this study is by conducting literature studies, observations, interviews, the last stage is conducting experiments on the waste of the fabric. Finally, the design of fashion products was carried out under the title "Exploration of Waste in the Soreang Area Conflict with Pencak Silat Clothing Inspiration" which is expected to be useful and provide solutions in dealing with waste that is wasted, and can be made into fashion products that have selling value.
