Abstract

Abstract The Bengkulu Tabut Festival is a Cultural Festival from Bengkulu that has a historical value of Islamic religion, besides that in 2018 the Ark Festival was included in 100 Wonderful Events Indonesia calendar of tourism activities. This shows that the Bengkulu Tabut Festival has the potential to be able to be processed, looking at the historical values of Islam and the cultural elements contained therein. Therefore the author wants to cultivate the potential of the Tabut Festival to be used as inspiration for tapestry weaving on the design of Muslim fashion products, seeing the harmony between the Bengkulu Tabut Festival, tapestries, and Muslim fashion products that share Islamic religious values. The research method used by the author in this study used qualitative methods, while the data collection methods carried out were through observation, interviews, exploration, and literature studies.
