Abstract

Abstract  Bandung is a city that has many historic sites, one of which is Braga which is the main street of Bandung. Braga has historical value and a building that has the potential to be an inspiration for designing motifs that can be applied to fashion products. The method used in this research is a qualitative method by conducting literature studies, observations and interviews with regard to collecting data on the history, atmosphere and development of xerography image transfer, block printing and Braga. In addition, researchers conducted explorations using engineering techniques, namely xerography image transfer and block printing, which have the potential to produce motif designs using the Braga documentation as motif inspiration. The aim is to convey that the effects or results of xerography image transfer and block printing characters using the Braga atmosphere documentation can still be of aesthetic value when applied to natural fiber textile materials so that they become fashion products. The results of this study are expected to provide alternative processing techniques for conventional printing, namely xerography image transfer and block printing, which are generally used separately. The results of this textile processing are applied to natural fiber fabric sheets which will be processed into custom ready-to-wear products. Keywords  Xerography image transfer, Block printing, Braga, natural fiber textiles
