Pengolahan Serat Pakis Hata Pengandaran Sebagai Aplikasi Dekoratif Pada Produk Fashion

Abstract

Abstrak Crafting is a part of craft that cannot be separated from the lives of Indonesian people. Indonesia has many types of crafts and craftsmen in various regions. Kabupaten Pangandaran is one of the areas that has crafts originating from hata ferns. This craft began to grow quite well with the variety of products such as bags, tissue boxes, bracelets and knick knacks boxes. In terms of materials and crafts, the potential is large enough to be processed, but the problems that occur in hata craft, is a matter of the variety of motives and products produced.
The purpose of this study is to be able to optimize the type of hata fern fibers. Developing the potential of hata ferns craft is explorative both with structure and surface techniques to produce new materials. And can produce products from the type of hata fern craft as an accessories fashion product such a bag, clutch, handbag, etc.
