Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hal yang penting bagi manusia, karena dengan pendidikan seseorang dapat mencapai kehidupan yang lebih layak, mempunyai wawasan yang luas dan membentuk pribadi manusia. Namun proses pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini masih belum berhasil membangun pendidikan karakter pada anak. Maka dari itu, pemerintah mengeluarkan Permendikbud No.23 tahun 2017 tentang Hari Kerja. Peraturan itu berisi tentang penerapan lima hari sekolah dengan delapan jam waktu belajar per hari atau full day school. Menurut KPAI, kebijakan sistem full day school ini berpotensi melanggar hak dasar anak karena menghabiskan waktu dengan durasi panjang di sekolah justru dapat mengganggu tumbuh kembang anak. Seperti yang kita ketahui, karakteristik remaja sendiri didominasi oleh emosi yang masih labil dan rasa ingin diakui oleh kelompoknya. Sedangkan remaja yang duduk dibangku SMP, terlebih yang sudah menerapkan sistem full day school, umumnya menghabiskan waktu sekitar 7-9 jam sehari di sekolah. Tidak mengheran jika pengaruh lingkungan sekolah terhadap perkembangan psikologi remaja dapat berpengaruh besar dalam membentuk karakter remaja. Itulah mengapa, pendidikan karakter sangat perlu diterapkan di sekolah sedini mungkin. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Dengan cara metode studi kasus, perancang dapat mengamati kasus yang sebenarnya terjadi dari sudut pandang pemerintah yang mengeluarkan sistem, dinas pendidikan yang menyampaikan sistem, dan sekolah yang menerapkan sistem. Film merupakan sala satu media untuk menyampaikan pesan yang cukup mudah diterima berbagai kalangan, termasuk remaja. Perancang berperan sebagai D.O.P atau penata kamera harus mampu membangkitkan emosi khalayak sasar lewat perancangan konsep dan teknik penataan kamera. Therefore, the government issued Permendikbud No.23 on early 2017 about “Hari Kerjaâ€. The regulation covers the application of five school days with eight hours duration of study per day or ‘Full Day School’. According to KPAI, Full Day School system policy is infringe the basic rights of children because spending time with a long duration at school can actually distrupting student’s development growth. As we know, the true nature of adolescent are still unstable and having an urge to be recognized by the group of their age. Whereas teenagers whose in junior high schools, especially who have implemented a full day school system, generally spend around 7-9 hours a day at school. It weren’t astounding us anymore that the influence of the school environment on the development of adolescent psychology can have a major influence in shaping their character. That's why, character education really needs to be applied in school as early as possible. The method used in this study is qualitative research with case study methods. With the case studies, the designer can observe the actual case that occurs from many different point of view, such as of the government that issues the system, the education service that delivers the system, and the school that implements the system. The film is a media to convey messages that are quite easily accepted by various people, including teenagers.
