Implementasi Metode Knowledge Tracing Untuk Memprediksi Masa Studi Mahasiswa Menggunakan Pengetahuan Sebelumnya

Abstract

Abstrak Proses belajar mengajar hingga proses wisuda merupakan rentang waktu lamanya masa studi untuk menyelesaikan proses pendidikan pada program studi yang dijalani oleh mahasiswa. Namun tidak semua mahasiswa dapat menyelesaikan masa studi yang ditempuh dengan tepat waktu, sehingga mengakibatkan penumpukan jumlah mahasiswa yang tidak lulus sesuai dengan masa periode kelulusannya. Salah satu cara untuk mencapai kualitas mutu tertinggi dari sistem perguruan tinggi adalah dengan menggali pengetahuan dari data bidang akademik. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besar kelulusan atau ketidaklulusan pada mahasiswa dengan mengimplementasikan algoritma knowledge tracing dalam memprediksi masa studi mahasiswa. Masa studi dapat diketahui dengan melihat kelulusan atau ketidaklulusan mahasiswa, baik yang lulus tepat waktu, dan tidak tepat waktu. Parameter knowledge tracing pada studi kasus ini yaitu K0 (nilai awal knowledge user atau nilai mata kuliah wajib pada tingkat 1 yaitu semester 1 dan 2), guess, slip, dan learning rate (nilai konstan jumlah mahasiswa di Fakultas Informatika khususnya angkatan 2015 dan 2016) berpengaruh terhadap nilai knowledge user. Maka pada Tugas Akhir ini dapat diketahui waktu terbaik dilakukan prediksi kelulusan tepat waktu dan tidak tepat waktu untuk masa studi mahasiswa menggunakan pengetahuan sebelumnya, yaitu untuk mahasiswa reguler tahun ke-2 (tingkat 2) adalah ketika mahasiswa telah melewati mata kuliah dari semester 3 sampai dengan semester 4 dengan precision sebesar 69.6%. Sedangkan untuk mahasiswa pindahan tahun ke-2 (tingkat 2) adalah ketika mahasiswa telah melewati mata kuliah dari semester 3 sampai dengan semester 5 dengan precision sebesar 75.8%. Abstract The process of teaching and learning to the graduation process is a span the length of the period of study to complete the process of education on the course traveled by the student. But not all students can complete the study period is on time, resulting in a buildup of the number of students who did not pass in accordance with the period of high school graduation. One way to achieve the highest quality of the college system is to dig up the knowledge from the academic field data. This thesis aims to analyze how much a graduation or ketidaklulusan on students by implementing algorithms knowledge tracing in predicting the study period the student. The period of study can be found by looking at the graduation or ketidaklulusan, both students graduating on time, and not on time. Knowledge tracing parameter in this case study, namely K0 (initial value knowledge user or the value of the compulsory subjects at level 1 i.e. the semester 1 and 2), guess, slip, and the learning rate (constant value number of students at the Faculty of Informatics especially the force 2015 and 2016) effect on the value of knowledge users. It is in this final Task can be known best time do predictions of graduation on time and not just in time for the study period the student using prior knowledge, i.e. for regular student year 2 (level 2) is when a student have passed courses from semester 3 to 4 semesters with a precision of 69.6%. As for transfer students year 2 (level 2) is when students have passed courses from semester 3 up to 5 semester with the precision of 75.8%.
