Perancangan Sistem Penunjuk Pengembalian Buku Menggunakan Rfid

Abstract

Abstrak Sistem klasifikasi buku di perpustakaan memiliki metode yang berbeda. Oleh karena itu, pengunjung perpustakaan tidak mengerti dengan baik sistem klasifikasi yang diterapkan oleh perpustakaan sehingga pengunjung tidak dapat dengan mudah mengembalikan buku yang telah dibaca. Beberapa perpustakaan telah menerapkan sistem barcode untuk pengembalian buku dan peminjaman buku, tetapi teknologi ini belum menyediakan sistem untuk mengembalikan buku bagi pengunjung perpustakaan. Dalam penelitian ini kami membuat sistem yang memungkinkan pengunjung mengembalikan buku ke rak yang tepat dengan meggunakan RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). Pengunjung yang ingin mengembalikan buku ke raknya hanya perlu memindai buku yang telah disematkan oleh tag RFID ke pemindai RFID. Setelah buku dipindai, pengontrol akan mencari data yang terkait dengan tag RFID ke dalam database dan ketika data diterima maka pengontrol akan mengirim data seperti nama dan lokasi rak buku ke AGV sehingga AGV akan mengembalikan buku ke rak yang tepat. Due to that issue, library visitors do not understand well the classification system is done in the library so that visitors can not easily restore books that have been read. Some libraries have implemented a barcode system for book returns and book lending, but this technology has not provided a system for returning books for library visitors. In this study we created a system that allows visitors to return the book to the proper shelf by using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). Visitors who want to return a book to its shelf only need to scan a book that has been embedded by RFID tags to an RFID scanner. After the book is scanned the controller will search the data related to the RFID tag into the database and when the data is received then the controller will send data such as the name and location of the bookshelf to AGV so that AGV will return the book to the proper shelf.
